Johanna Taboada - violin, vocals, piano

Johanna graduated at the National Conservatory of Music of Peru. She has lots of experience playing in orchestras since she was twelve years old, as a concertmaster. She traveled to different cities around Peru to play and teach music to others.

Johanna was accepted in the National Conservatory of Music of Peru in first place and during her studies, she has performed in music festivals, chamber ensembles and also in orchestras sharing stage with known singuers and performers as Andrea Bocelli, Laura Pausini and Juan Diego Florez. Johanna has been part of the 35 CAF Anniversary playing with the Latin-American Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Gustavo Dudamel in Caracas, Venezuela. She has taught in San Pedro, Markham and Salcantay school giving violin, piano and voice lessons. Johanna has been Head of Music program in Salcantay School where she got the most experience in music education. She also conducted the middle and high school choir in Salcantay, this choir participated in festivals reaching a high level. In 2013 she became a instructor in “Sinfonia por el Peru children orchestra” leaded by the tenor Juan Diego Florez. Her students have played and take part in different festivals and concerts around Peru.

Johanna always attends to several courses (Fladem festival, music methodology at Cayetano Heredia University, Suzuki Festival, music methodology in“Centro Montalban” Caracas, Venezuela) to further her music education and keep up with the latest trends. She took orchestral conducting classes with Parcival Modolo and Angel del Palacio. (Brazil and Spain).

Johanna is a very persistent person who enjoys learning and working hard to achieve goals. She makes her students comfortable with their instruments and start loving music.
